THE NEW FACEBOOK PIXEL - SET UP IN MINUTES - NO CODE REQUIRED!

FACEBOOK recently launched a new interface to set up the Facebook Pixel on your website. From what I understand Facebook business has been sending out invites to users who have Business Manager accounts with a link to access this new way to set up the Pixel.

If you don't have access to it yet (if you haven't received an email that looks like the one below) , stay put it will come or we can figure out together where this can be found for every Ads Manager.

So the reason of this first post today is that YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE not to install a Pixel for your branded website -  whether it's a Theater website, a Festival Website, a Film Website or a Distributor's website.

We all know by now THE MUST HAVE for all Facebook/Instagram Advertisers is the Facebook Pixel!

Before even starting to use it, you have to install it. So as I said previously Facebook has just made it really easy to install a Pixel on your website WITHOUT USING CODE! Very easy and intuitive. Just enter your website URL and boom!

Yes quite amazing. It's more intuitive than ever before because you are able to define which buttons and urls on your site are worth tracking and to make sure that Facebook track your customers' actions as "events" .

Here are some pre-determined trackable Events examples that can be useful. :

Etc…

That being said , if you still have to set up the Pixel the "traditional" way using the code on your website , it is not that difficult and Facebook have great tutorials in order to do so.

Once all of this is set up we will get a chance to go into the nitty gritty: \

  • Track specific actions on your site

  • Retarget customers based on those actions on your site

  • Optimize your Facebook campaigns deliver the best ROI and results!

Here's an example of what you could do with the Pixel:

Let's say you have been tremendously successful releasing "RBG"  and you have are now planning the release of "ON THE BASIS OF SEX"

Of course you can target clients who have purchased tickets for RBG based on their email but with the Facebook Pixel - if you're not reach out so I can help show you how to upload your email list on Facebook in order to create a custom audience)  you can also target the audience who has viewed the trailer on your website , put tickets in their cart without buying, have viewed the page "ON THE BASIS OF SEX" before tickets were available for sale, or any other similar actions that you are not tracking and retargeting now.

I believe anyone attending one of the Marketing conferences at Art House Convergence this year that explained the necessity of Social Media Advertising way better than I am now is already convinced….

Of course, for those of you who don’t have a digital marketer in house, I’d be more than happy to help. Feel free to REACH OUT!

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: COOKIES POLICY (PIXEL = COOKIES)

If you set up a Pixel, make sure you have all the proper disclaimers on your website and are compliant with all the rules and regulations for your territory. More about this HERE: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/privacy/

Cheers to All
